The San Antonio Police Department arrested a Converse man earlier this month after he allegedly threatened San Antonio city officials in a comment on a story posted to KSAT’s Facebook page. SAN ANTONIO – The San Antonio Police Department arrested a Converse man earlier this month after he allegedly threatened San Antonio city officials in a comment on a story posted to KSAT’s Facebook page. According to Bexar County jail records, Timothy Alejos, 38, was arrested and charged with making a terroristic threat against a public servant. The charge is considered a third-degree felony. Records show Alejos was taken into custody Aug. 18. A judge set his bond at $75,000, which Alejos fulfilled Tuesday.

He was later released from jail that same day. San Antonio police detectives said they monitored Alejos’ recent social media footprint. Alejos’ footprint included an alleged comment he made about the city’s proposed property tax hike under an Aug. 13 post to KSAT 12 News’ Facebook page. “I don’t car (care) who is protected or who is on the chopping block,” the comment on KSAT’s Facebook page began. “If I see any city officials doing better than the average person, the (they) will be dealt with, and definitely not on a ballot.” Alejos then posted a water gun emoji at the end of his comment.
