TheSinging.Bible Website Surpasses One Million Song Plays Within Two Weeks of Launch

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — TheSinging.Bible, which launched on August 25, 2026, surpassed one million song plays within two weeks of launch, reaching listeners in 194 countries, all without paid advertising.

What is TheSinging.Bible?

TheSinging.Bible offers musical renditions of all 1,189 chapters of Scripture, sung word for word in 16 musical styles: Praise, Country, Hip-Hop, African Dance, Children’s Choir, Sea Shanty, Barbershop Quartet, Spanish Alabanza and eight more. The music is available on the site to anyone free of charge.

These 16 musical versions of the entire Bible, each sung in both male and female voices, add up to 38,048 individual chapter recordings, or 3,600 hours of produced Scripture music—about five months of continuous listening without repeating a recording.

“The idea behind TheSinging.Bible is actually very simple,” said Ron Forseth, Founder and Executive Producer. “Take the Bible—all of it—and let people experience the Word of God through music in various styles. What wasn’t simple was producing 32 different renditions from beginning to end.”

Human-Led. AI-Assisted.

The extraordinary volume of music was made possible by a global team of more than 20 humans: producers, software engineers, quality-control specialists, managers and digital strategists, working with an array of modern AI tools to create and polish the recordings. While the technology made the volume of music possible, people remained at the center of producing, managing, reviewing and publishing it.

“These tools have allowed our team to undertake something that would previously have been practically impossible,” Forseth said. “With a heroic effort by the team working long hours, human producers and reviewers have accomplished the unthinkable: 24 million words of Scripture put to music. AI makes the scale possible. People have made the project possible.”

The lyrics are Scripture itself, using the Singing Bible Edition (SBE), an edition of the Berean Standard Bible. The full text of each chapter can also be displayed on screen while the music plays.

Designed to Make Scripture Easier to Hear—and Remember

The project grew from a simple observation: human beings have been using music to communicate for thousands of years.

“Music has an extraordinary capacity to make words stay with us,” Forseth said. “Our hope is that TheSinging.Bible helps Scripture find its way into hearts, places and moments where people might not otherwise sit down and read—the car, the kitchen, a hospital room, a child’s bedside, a walk, a workout or the few quiet minutes at the beginning of a day.”

Bibles For The World, a Colorado Springs-based ministry, was an early supporter of the project. Its CEO, John Pudaite, believes in innovative approaches to Bible distribution. “We are thrilled to see people in 194 countries engaging with God’s Word through music,” he said.

Visitors do not need to subscribe, create an account or install software to listen to the entire library. They visit the website, choose a Bible book and chapter, pick a musical style and voice, and press Play. When one chapter ends, the next begins automatically.

Every recording also has its own shareable link, allowing users to send a friend a specific chapter or verse in a specific musical style and voice.

A free resource, “23 Creative Ways Churches Can Use TheSinging.Bible”, offers ideas ranging from pre-service Scripture music and children’s ministry to Bible-memory challenges and hospital visitation.

A free Song of the Day email now sends subscribers one chapter presented in three different musical styles.

The complete Bible is also available in Spanish in the Alabanza style, with another style soon to be released. Additional languages and musical styles are in development.

Forseth said the project’s larger ambition is summed up by a verse from Habakkuk:

“Our prayer is that the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD as the waters cover the sea.” (Habakkuk 2:14)
