The facility is supporting Operation NANOOK-NUNAKPUT, which runs through Sept. 25 and is intended to strengthen Canada’s northern presence, surveillance, security and overall readiness. The operation brings together military, government, Indigenous and community partners across the Canadian Arctic. ATCO said the deployment required a complete end-to-end infrastructure package delivered under demanding conditions and compressed timelines. The company mobilized accommodations, power generation, water and wastewater systems, airlift and freight logistics, and essential life-support services.
