USA Today 10Best recently published its list of the 10 best Oktoberfest celebrations in the U.S., and one Colorado event was included. Oktoberfest celebrations recognize German culture and heritage, featuring a variety of events and entertainment and excellent selection of German beer and food. USA Today 10Best is a readers’ choice awards program that highlights the best in destinations, food and drink, hotels and things to do across the country. An expert panel selects their top choices in each category and readers vote to determine the 10 winners.

Denver Oktoberfest took seventh place. According to USA Today, the celebration draws about 350,000 people. The event takes place over two weekends in September, celebrating German heritage with plenty of German food, beer, and entertainment. Guests can pick up commemorative steins and enjoy events including wiener dog racing, keg bowling and stein hoisting. Zeeco Oktoberfest Tulsa in Tulsa, Oklahoma, took first place as the best Oktoberfest celebration in the U.S.
