Traffic management will also be changed. On Monday, October 5, the construction site was handed over to the contractor. The first step will be to modernize the gas network near the intersection – this work will be carried out by the network operator.
Then, the main construction work will begin, with completion scheduled for mid-January 2027. New plantings will appear next spring. The total investment cost, including annual greenery maintenance, will exceed PLN 1.1 million. The project is financed from funds from the Paid Parking Zone. Once the reconstruction is complete, the area will gain new greenery, and the layout of the road, sidewalks and pedestrian crossings will become more clear. To minimize the inconvenience of the reconstruction, work at the intersection will be carried out in stages. The first stage will close the intersection of Fabryczna and Prądzyńskiego Streets.
